Neurofeedback (EEG biofeedback):

Over 30 years of research has demonstrated the effectiveness of teaching people to modify or regulate their own brain process using neurofeedback. Neurofeedback is a non-invasive procedure that enables individuals to alter their brain-wave patterns thereby improving performance associated with a variety of disorders. Training involves measuring the electrical activity of the brain and transforming it via computer into brainwave feedback using visual displays and auditory signals. One gradually learns to use these reinforcing signals to enhance desired brain function or to decrease or eliminate dysfunctional states.

Individual training sessions are 50 minutes long
  • Twice weekly sessions are the recommended minimum for some issues (the total number of sessions varies)
  • Day and evening appointments are available

Neurofeedback treatment is available for stress reduction and increasing optimal performances for the following problems:
        - ADD/ADHD - Head Injury
        - Anxiety, Panic, Phobias - Learning, Cognitive
        - Aspergers, Social Skills - Obsessive Compulsive
        - Autism Spectrum Disorders - Post-Traumatic Stress
        - Attachment Issues - Sleep Disorders
        - Chronic Fatigue - Stress
        - Depression and Mood - Tension Headache
        - Fibromyalgia
