Neurofeedback (EEG biofeedback): Over 30 years of research has demonstrated the effectiveness of teaching people to modify or regulate their own brain process using neurofeedback. Neurofeedback is a non-invasive procedure that enables individuals to alter their brain-wave patterns thereby improving performance associated with a variety of disorders. Training involves measuring the electrical activity of the brain and transforming it via computer into brainwave feedback using visual displays and auditory signals. One gradually learns to use these reinforcing signals to enhance desired brain function or to decrease or eliminate dysfunctional states.
Individual training sessions are 50 minutes long
