Dr. DeLuca is a Fellow of the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN) and member of the American Psychological Association (APA), Association of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback (AAPB), and International Society for Neuronal Regulation (ISNR). He has several publications and numerous presentations in the areas of inner development, QEEG brain mapping, neurofeedback and neuropsychology. He is an adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Windsor. Dr. DeLuca was a consulting editor for the The Clinical Neuropsychologist (1990-2000) as well as ad hoc reviewer for several other professional journals including Child Neuropsychology, Journal of Pediatric Psychology, Anxiety, and Journal of Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology. He was previously Chief Psychologist of both the Adolescent Inpatient Unit and Service for Child & Adolescent Neuropsychology at Lafayette Clinic (a State of Michigan training and research psychiatric hospital) in Detroit, MI (1990-1992) and staff psychologist at Hawthorn Center (a State of Michigan child psychiatric hospital) in Northville, MI (1986-1990). At Hawthorn Center, Dr. DeLuca worked with outpatients, inpatients and with adjudicated male and female juvenile offenders at Adrian and Maxey Training Schools. Dr. DeLuca completed his clinical training at the University of Windsor, Regional Children’s Centre in Windsor Ontario, and Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. He has M.A. degrees in General/Experimental Psychology (University of Detroit, 1981) and Asian Studies (University of Michigan, 1978) as well as a Ph.D. in clinical/neuropsychology (University of Windsor, 1986). |
